Bronsons Baby Blessing

So we blessed Bronson on August 30th. It was such a fun day, and the blessing was awesome thanks to my awesome hubby :) We had a delicious brunch at my house after.. here are some fun pictures Ashley took for me! Thanks sister! (So convenient to have a photographer always around!! Thanks to everyone for coming, and helping with food and stuff!!

A bunch of the kids all ended up in my room watching a wee sing movie.. which they all loved! They are all so cute! About 6 others joined them too!

Taylor put up the bead board all by himself. He did such a good job.. now I wanna do it in the other bedrooms!

I have cute little snails and stuff around his room, so I wanna put new words in that old window on the other wall with that saying.. "snips and snails and puppy dog tails, thats what little boys are made of " We will see if that ever gets done though..

I think his name turned out so cute! It was so easy to do too.

Heres the little star of the day.. he was such a good baby. No problems in the blessing, but he did spit up pretty bad when Taylor was walking him back to sit by me.. in front of everyone.. gotta love babies!

Here is my "other mother" Teresa. We had lots of fun visitors! I had tons of family and friends come.. wish I had pictures of all of you!! We so appreciated all of them. I was bored out of my mind by the end of the week!

The day after we got home it was the 4th of July, so my mom stopped by and brought us these flags :) Think he is proud to be an American ?? Poor kid..

Bronsons 1st Shoes

So we got these as a shower present.. they are a little big still, but we put them on him anyways. They dont match what he is wearing, but I thought he was so cute with them. ( P.S. you will see how hard I laugh.. little embarassing :/ )

So I thought this was pretty funny. Although he was up in the middle of the night.. almost all night.. I could not help but think this is so dang funny. He is so cute, but very tiring. Sorry if it makes you sick to watch it!!

I meant to do it as a means of birth control for some people, but he pulled those cute faces!

I just love this picture of my hubby and Bronson.. arent they so handsome? Such a tender moment. My husband is such a great father, and I honestly do not know what I would do without his help! Thanks Taylor!

Thanks again Ashley! I don't have anything to interesting to write about, all my days are the same! It pretty much consists of feeding him, changing poopy diapers, getting peed on, crying, sleeping, cuddling, playing, laughing, and just loving my little man. Despite all the lack of sleep, and frustration sometimes.. I do love being a mom! My life is completely different, and I guess I never really knew how much my parents loved me until now. Me and Taylor feel so blessed to have Bronson in our family. He brings such joy, and is so funny! We say he is like a fire becuase we can sit and stare at him for hours! He is always going cross-eyed and going bright red from constipation, and cracks the funniest smiles. He is such a crazy little guy, he is ALWAYS moving.. seriously! He is so strong, and loud, I have a feeling we may go nuts when he starts to talk and walk! My mom says he takes after me:) I may have my work cut out for me. Uh oh. I am still getting used to being home all day, and not working. But it has been a great break. I must say thank you to all my friends, co-workers, and family for coming to visit me, or letting me come hang out! Its great to have so much support. Life is so good:)

FINALLY.. I have a blog!

Well I finally joined the rest of the world.. I have a blog! Ha ha.. Thanks to Alisha for starting it for me.. I think she got sick of not knowing what I am doing with my life! My life has been a bit hectic lately. I went in to have Bronson on Monday June 29th.. (yes my Birthday) I went in at 8:30a.m and had my water broke. We thought it would be a fast process, but it SO was not! They started my pitocin, and all day I was not dilating any faster, and things were going very slowly. We knew something was wrong, and we asked the nurse a few times and she told us everything was working fine... well at about 7:00 p.m my doctor came in and told me the petocin was not on the whole time!! Which was why I was not progressing! Needless to say, I was not a happy person!! I was STARVING for one, actually famished, and I was so exhausted. The nurse totally screwed up and did not pay attention to the pitocin at all.. so anyways after 15 hours of labor, they decided it was too dangerous to keep going. He was in the birth canal for too long, and he was faced up, and his cord kept getting pinched off. So at 11:40 they said we need to go now, and so we went. Oh and by now my epidural was wearing off, and I couldnt get the spinal tap.. so I was not drugged up properly. The c-section went ok, and he was born at 12:14 am.. not on my Birthday.. we have joked the whole pregnancy that he is already stubborn- like me:) He just had to have his own Birthday!!! I started to hemmorage so they had to hurry and give me more petocin. Yep.. I then had full blown labor contractions after my c-section with a new incision!! I screamed for about an hour, it was absolutely ridiculous.. thought I was dying. It took two shots of morphine, and some other major drug to put me to sleep. So I did not get to enjoy the baby til the morning. But I did live, and we left the hospital on friday. We have had so much fun getting to know Bronson, but it has been a little harder than expected with me healing and all. I do just want to throw out a special THANK YOU to my mothers, sisters, ward, friends, and family for all the help they have given me. I have been waited on, cooked for, and had Bronson taken care of at all times and I truly appreciated everyones help, love and support. I have taken the past week to sit back and really count my blessings. I especially need to tell my husband Taylor that I appreciate him so much. He has done everything for me, and Bronson. I love him so much, and am so grateful I have such a loving, caring hubby:) It has been my favorite part by far to see him interact with the baby, there are so many tender moments between the two of them, and it always makes me cry! Anyways this is really long, but I just wanted to update everyone!! I will hopefully update often, but this mothering thing is hardwork! But so worth it:)
