New Pic

Dear Bloggers.. I know this new picture at the top is of LAST year. And after the snowfall last night maybe there is hope of getting a new picture taken in the snow. I will change it once I get a better picture of the winter time. Thanks for your understanding.

Like Father Like Son..

Ok.. so I know you may have saw the last post with my husbands eye... I am NOT abusive I swear! Bronson got his first black eye today. Apparently the neighbor kid hates Bronson. Ha ha. Just kiddin.. but he did throw a toy at him! Poor little Bronson.. but he still looks dang cute!!
***P.S.. I just noticed that the picture on the bottom has the most random things on the floor by him. Dont mind the do-rag from Taylors mission in New York, the High School musical present for one of our nieces, the bowl thing for my hair color, and the wrapping paper. Just kind of made me giggle.. he gets into EVERYTHING!

Quick Catch Up

Well.. here are some pic's from the last few weeks.. kinda boring.. but thats all I got for ya today. Sorry. I'm lame.
We bought Bronson his first b-ball hoop and brought it inside since the weather is bad.. and man he LOVES it. He shoots it, and dunks it, and says "ball" every time we walk in the door. I think I will leave it all winter.. poor kid is going to go nuts inside all the time. Also, now everytime at church we sit in Sacrament he screams out and points to the hoops on the ceiling and says "ball" over.. and over. .and over again. Cute, but distracting!

Just posing for Momma! What a ham.

My niece Mylie had her 3rd Birthday and we went swimming, well I did not, but I took the pictures! Bronson really liked it, but the water was cold! Why the heck would it be cold in the winter and indoor? But they still had fun!

Cute Ash and Mylie..

My dad. .aka Papa.. and Bronson.. heaven forbid he ever look at the camera anymore!

Thanksgiving was.. different shall we say. Taylor went and played football.. or a "turkey bowl" with all his extended family. He came home with blood all over, and a unicorn on his forehead. It was not good. At all. He collided with someone going full speed because neither one saw the other at all. Taylor was out of it all day. He cried. Dont tell him, but he cried like a baby. He was in SO much pain. I felt so helpless and everywhere was closed, and I was not going to the ER to wait for hours and spend hundreds of dollars for nothing. So we didnt go. Needless to say it was not my favorite Thanksgiving thats for sure. We both didnt hardly even eat. It was nice to go to his Grandma and Grandpa Morgans home though and see everyone. And when I mean everyone, I mean EVERYONE. It was nuts. Probably at least 80 people. And about 40 of those children under the age of 12. Ha ha! But it sure makes it interesting!

Two days later.. it just got darker and bigger and bigger. I should have kept taking pictures because it was worse than this, but you get the point..

We got all our Christmas stuff up! Ok that is only the tree, and outside house lights. But hey.. I love it. I love the feeling it brings to our home and makes me so excited for the holiday! Gotta love "Santa" and his black eye.. haha.. and his cute little elf helper :)

I still need to add some more decor around it, I just gotta go shopping to my moms basement I think! Or maybe hit some after Christmas sales this year. I have nothing, and I don't really wanna spend full price on stuff I will have up for a few weeks. But I definitely am workin' on it!

I love Bronson. I took my camera in there and he turned and said "GEEZZ"! I laughed so hard because I have never heard him say "cheese".. let alone actually smile and look at the camera!

Bronson turned 17 months on Nov 30th. I cannot believe it. Time sure is flying by and I dont know how to stop it! I sure love and cherish every moment with him. I sometimes catch my self bragging about him! I used to be embarassed when my mom would, and now I totally understand! I am such a proud "Monny". He calls me that now instead of mommy? Weird. But cute. He has learned a few new words lately. He says "Gar" for car. He says "ball" all the time now. He loves them. He says "geezz" for cheese. He says "Day Do" for thank you. He says "BALOO" for balloon. Which he seriously had a phobia til this week. Now he is obsessed with one and cried himself to sleep saying "baloo". So we will see if he still likes them next week :) He is just getting smarter and smarter and taller and taller. So fun, and yet so sad. I love being a "monny" it is awesome.

Halloween..

Ta Da! I am only four days late blogging! Its a miracle! And I actually have pictures! Yea! I LUV my new camera.. don't really know how to work it yet.. but its much better than my other one. Halloween was fun this year. Bronson was such a cute little golfer man. He was so funny! He actually left on the hat the whole time! He loved it. He went trick or treating at Taylor's new job, and they all loved his costume. He liked to take ALL the candy out of bowls.. not just one.. wonder where he learned that? :) Then we went to my moms for the annual chili and breadsticks.. yum! We took him to like 10 houses around their neighborhood to trick or treat. Then the dang rain came and ruined everything. It was really wet and cold. We then went to Kaysville and visited all my in laws. We sure love all our family and appreciate them! What a fun time of the year it is. Now we can look forward to Thanksgiving! Yea! Then Christmas.. already.. wow! Well.. here are some pics..

This was the ONE semi decent shot I got of just Bronson in his costume! Still cute though! Oh, and I have had alot of people ask me if I made his costume.. I wish I could sew a button.. but I absolutely did NOT make it. I bought it off the internet :) Thats how I roll..
My nieces Mylie and Chloe as indians.. love them to pieces!

All 3 grandkids.. Bronson is such a ham!

Cheese! I think the hat made Bronsons ears poke out a lil' much.. sorta looks like an elf! haha!

Oh.. not so happy Chloe..

And .3 seconds later.. She smiles! She is such a happy little girl. She smiles ALOT for her age. Funny thing about her cute costume is.. we bought it at a DOLL store! It was tiny and I never thought it would really fit her! She has on the baby doll moccasins too! She is so little, and way too cute!

My mom holding Maycee.. my friend Staci's little girl, and Bronson. They are only 2 weeks apart. They are so cute together eh?

The rainbow came after the rain! So cool!

What is that?

Yes.. it is a BIG NASTY worm. My son likes worms. I am not a fan of it actually, but had to get the camera out. He loved it. I hated it. Needless to say as soon as I got a picture, I made him wash his hands. Boys will be boys I guess. And let me tell you, Bronson is ALL boy!

Change

I am not good at blogging at all I decided. But I do want to talk about a few things that have changed..

First off.... Goodbye

Hello

Yes it is true.. my husband got a new job. It is a REALLY big, and weird change.. but we are excited and ready for something new. He really did like working at Morgan Pavement, but the work and the hours were so hard on ALL of us. Our neighbor told Taylor about an opening at IKON and so he applied. We honestly thought he had no chance at all considering like 28 people applied, and he has NO experience whatsoever.. but he got the job! So no more 60-70 hour work weeks! No more going out of town! :) He works 8 am to 5 pm.. and even better.. Monday through Friday!! Yea! We are both very excited about that. It will be nice to know exactly when he will be home, and actually be able to plan things more than a few hours in advance! He started on Wednesday and so far he likes it alot. The company seems great, and he likes his boss and all the people he has met so far. So.. as sad as it is to leave the good ole family business, and how much he will miss seeing everyone there.. we are ready for the change. We hope it will all work out. Especially because we will make less money, but we can now budget because its salary! So we may get poor.. but we truly feel Heavenly Father is wanting us to do this, and we know we both will be much happier! Money is not EVERYTHING.. right?? :)
Speaking of money.. Yikes. this new camera came into my life and it is not SUPER fancy.. but WAY better than my old camera. Hopefully now I can take more pictures of the family and have them look crisp and clear.. not fuzzy! I really begged for this, and it is my Christmas present..

Along with this. I know. Kind of a lame christmas present for the two of us. But, gotta be practical now a days! And we love it. It's awesome. Hopefully no more big expenses will come up anytime soon! I think our spending money days are over. Ha ha. I already bought us Forgotten Carols tickets, and I just bought some Trans-Siberian Orchestra tickets and tickets to a Jazz game to surprise Taylor. I did get them in a package from work together and it was really cheap, so I couldnt pass it up!! I still may be in big trouble.. But I think the Jazz ticket will make him forgive the others! Ugh.. here we go with the Jazz season. I LOVE watching.. but not EVERY single game, and the WHOLE Thing. Taylor is a tad bit obsessed, but I guess I have no room to talk with the Biggest Loser and all my other shows I record. Good thing we have two tv's!

Old Randomness

So, because I am SO behind on blogging.. here are some random pics of the summer that I never posted. They are not in any particular order either.. :)
I Love this one of Bronson standing in his train watching the World Cup game. I think we have a future soccer player.. surprise surprise..

Many of you may already know about this, but if you dont.. you should. Its called Bountiful Baskets, and you order a basket on like Monday and then you go pick it up on Saturdays. (There are ALOT of pick up locations around here, well all over Utah.) This was one of the days I got one. I was so excited. Its all veggies and fruits, and its a complete surprise basket.. ya never know what your gonna get! Its only like $17. You would spend much more at a store, and this stuff is alot better! Look it up online. It rocks.

Cute Mylie in her swimsuit..

This was my attempt to get Bronson.. all he did all summer was go up and down these back porch steps.. up and down.. so funny..

This one is just cute.. this is when we buzzed his head. Makes him look old I think!

In the pool.. sun in his face.. oops..but he liked it.. sorta.. depended on the day. But this pool has been a hit with all of the Edwards family, the kids love it.

He was hungry, and tired.. and SO cute..

4th of July this year.. yea.. was not good at taken pictures at all. I am actually really bummed about it. But I got a few of us when we went bowling with my little family.. Mylie was loving it..

Love this picture. Ashley flippin made Mylie's skirt! It was SO cute! She looked adorable.

This is actually what Bronson did the majority of the time bowling.. he loved driving.. and Grammie was a good sport and babysat while we played. Such a fun picture.

Baby Chloe & The Zoo

So, most of you already know this.. but I have a new niece named Chloe! I just love her to pieces. She was born 9-8-10 and weighed only 5lbs 11 oz, and only 18.5 inches long. She is teenie tiny! She almost seems fake! But, she is adorable and Ashley is doing well. I wish I could spend alot more time with them, but instead I sit at work with a numb bum. It's really getting old just sitting at a desk staring at a computer all day long. Blah. Anyways, I am so excited to have her here now, and to watch her grow up. I love being an Aunt. Its the best. I now have 2 nieces on my side, and I have 14 nieces and 6 nephews on Taylors side! Pretty crazy, but so fun! Here are some pics from the hospital.. she was so sleepy :)

This is the two grandma's.. Brenda Schoenfeld on the left and my mommy on the right
This is Mylie first meeting Chloe. SO cute! She loved Chloe, but really had NO idea that she was here to stay, and would be sharing Mom and Dad.. haha. But I think she has been doing really well with it all!

We took Bronson to the Hogle Zoo on Labor Day.. and lets just say it was a ZOO! haha. It was really busy, and kind of annoying, but fun still! Bronson was pretty scared at first, especially of the elephants and the giraffes. I guess they are huge, and not enclosed in a cage.

He didn't mind the stuff in cages, he actually started to really like it, and would tap on the windows and laugh. It was cute to see Tay and him together.

Cute little tiger..

I just like this pic. Nothin else to say about it.

Camels were pretty weird looking..

I had the whole week off the week before Labor Day, and it was SO nice. I loved it. We ended up not going camping, but it was ok! We got a lot done around the house, and went to IKEA one day :) I love that place. Im now addicted. Anyways, I really need to keep up on this blog better! Sorry. I will keep trying!

Bronsons Dr Seuss Party

So, we had Bronsons 1st Birthday party here at my house the other night. I did a Dr.Seuss theme. It turned out SO cute-thanks to my mom and sister Ashley of course :) It wasn't anything too amazing, cuz we could have done LOTS of fun stuff.. but with that is more $. And I figure he is 1, he wont remember anyways! But we did what we could, and I loved it. It still was pretty awesome for a 1 yr old! We just invited our immediate family, and with the Edwards side that was still about 40 people! And I think everyone- especially all the kids had fun! They swam, did sprinklers, did pin the hat on the cat, hit a pinata.. lots of treats and food! It was a blast!
This was the invite Ashley made and we sent out. Turned out fun I think! (Sorry the picture looks really bad, but I scanned it in, and it was bent so it left weird things all over on his face, and cut off some words!)

Here is a picture of my backyard before the party..

The food tables..

My mom made a Pin The Hat on The Cat game.. So cute! And I must say I really like the "trees" we made. They look like the ones in all the books right?
Pink Yink Ink Drink (aka rasberry lemonade)

Thing 1 and Thing 2 cupcakes..(I made red velvet cupcakes, we frosted them blue, then put blue cotton candy on the top to look like their hair!) Big hit with the kids, but a little messy!

The cotton candy started to melt, and they only looked cute for a little bit, but still.. Fun!

I also put out Hop on Pop Otter Pops :) And cute playdough ice cream!

Yot in a Pot ( Baked Beans from Grandma Morgan )

Schlotts Knotts (Moms yummy rolls..)

Diffendoofer Fruit Salad ( Thanks to Grandma and Grandpa Edwards)

One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish (Jello Jigglers, also another hit with the kids)

Poodles with Noodles ( Two YUMMY pasta salads, thanks to Cami and Heidi)

Yurtle The Turtle Caramels ( SO good.. thanks to Ashley) Super easy to make too!

And of course, Green Eggs and Ham! (Ham from Grandma and Grandpa Franklin, and Deviled eggs from Emily, and Addie)

I like this picture.. I know they are green, but they still were delicious!

And the messy Thing 1.

He looks like such a nerd in this outfit, but its his pj bottoms, and he was going to bed soon. haha

And again.. the blue frosting.. was a hit.. I wish you could see JD's hands, they were completely blue! What a cute picture though!

Bronson and Jax chillin..

Ok.. so maybe the blue food coloring was not the best idea.. haha. But, once again I love this picture of Mollie.

Horton Hears a Who Pinata.. the kids loved it.

And yes, my husband stood right ther and held it up. Almost got his head wacked off, but we survived. It was so cute, all the kids stood around waiting their turn, and chanted the persons name over and over while it was their turn. So fun!

Uncle Dane and Bronson's Turn

Ok, so he didn't do too well, but Dane ended up breaking it for everyone.

Here is his #1 cake, inspired by the cat in the hat. Turned out cute, but we could not get it out of the pan, so it stayed in it. :)

Bronson eagerly awaiting..

And waited in style..

I have more pics but I cant find my camera to download them, but you get the idea.. These Pictures were all that Ashley my photograhper sister took.. she is amazing( check her website out milesofmemories.blogspot.com)! Anyways, thanks so much to everyone who came, for all the awesome presents, and for all the yummy food! It really was way fun, but I dunno if Bronson will be having one that big in a long time! Ha ha. But, he is worth it. I Cant believe he is 1!!!
