My sweet baby girl Arley is here! Here is my version of the "story". I started having contractions consistently every 7-8 minutes on Thursday Oct 20, 2011. I was supposed to have my c-section on Monday the 24
th. Dr.
Housel told me though that if my contractions become consistent every 5 minutes to go to the hospital and they will go ahead with the surgery. I waited it out through the LONG night of contractions, and they just became more frequent. I decided to still go to see some of my best friends from growing up. It was either that or sit at home and cry, and be anxious. So I went to the duck pond, chatted, and chased Bronson around. They started to be every 4-6 minutes. So I called Taylor, told him he better leave work and drive home from Salt Lake. I left the park around 12pm. I went to my parents, met Taylor, left Bronson with my Mom and older sister Ashley, and headed to McKay Dee.
Once I got to the hospital and after being monitored, my doctor said I was in full blown labor, and we were off to have the surgery! It was a pretty fast process, minus the stupid painful contractions before I got all numbed up, THANK heavens for modern day medicine!! I could never go natural. Yuck. The C-Section went
ALOT smoother than with Bronson, and she was born Oct 21st, 2011 at 3:34 pm. She weighed 7lbs 4 oz, and was 19 inches long. She was beautiful! I was told she had TONS of black hair, got my hopes up a bit.. then once she was all cleaned up I noticed it wasn't TONS.. just a bunch on the bottom, and not too much on top.. grandpa hair, just like Bronson's was :) Still, she was so cute! Healthy as can be too, and that's all I cared about. Pretty weird though that I left the park at 12, and had a daughter by 3:34. Ha ha! Anyways, here are some pictures of her and some family after she was born.. and no they are not in order. Sorry!

Sweet
lil' sleepy thing..

Arley with Grammy and Papa (
Worthen). Papa went hunting 3 hours away that morning. My mom called him and him and my brother drove ALL the way back just to see her and me! I was SO grateful, I would have really missed my Daddy. My dad is the best dad, and Papa ever! It ended up taking them almost 6 hours to get home due to traffic, and accidents, but they still came, and drove all the way back the next morning! Love them.

Papa and tired Arley..

A very tired and exhausted Uncle Dane, and Papa with Arley.

Bronson 1st meeting his "baby sister" as he now calls her. It was the cutest and most tender moment for me! I sure love my family. Even my cheesy smiling husband :)

So sweet.. I love this.

Aunt Ashley showed up while I was in recovery with Bronson.

Grammy holding Arley for the first time. This is when I told my mom her name. She cried!

Taylor looking at his new daughter. I was a
little jealous he was holding her so much, but it was worth it to see this..

Daddy feeding Arley for the first time..

Hello world!!

Gotta love the
goopy eye look :)

Healthy baby girl!! We are SO grateful for Arley. She has already been such a blessing, and so sweet. She is a pretty easy going baby, sleeps all day pretty much, and only wakes up once or twice in the night. Bronson is adjusting, every day gets better with him. He is so sweet to his baby sister, and loves to put her
binky in, helps hold her bottle, and gives her kisses on her head. Being home all day with two kids is rough at times, but also so enjoyable! I love being a mom, especially to TWO beautiful children!
Congratulations Shayla! She is sweet. You are such a cute little mom! I love seeing all of your girls cute families!
